My journey to founding Waverly Station began in Connecticut, where I grew up dreaming beyond state lines. Everything changed during a family trip to Greece after my graduation.
Working with a travel advisor for the first time, I experienced what intentional travel could be—private kayaking that ended at family tavernas, pottery studios hidden on farm estates, evenings at the Athenian opera. That perfect boutique hotel in Santorini became my standard for what accommodations should feel like: intimate, authentic, and aligned with place.
Then came corporate life. I found myself rationing precious vacation days while drowning in TripAdvisor reviews and conflicting recommendations.
The planning process that should have built anticipation became its own source of anxiety—a feeling I recognized in friends and colleagues who either wasted their time off or spent it managing logistics instead of being present. That's when Waverly Station took shape.
Today, I transform hard-earned vacation days into experiences that matter. By handling the overwhelming details, I free my clients to focus on discovery—whether that's exploring Taormina's hidden corners, witnessing wildlife on a Tanzanian safari, or finding their own perfect moment in Paris. Because travel at its best isn't an escape from life, but a deeper immersion into it.
